The Sterling City Eagles basketball team (Sterling City, TX), was overwhelmed 36-10 in Saturday's non-league battle with the host Blackwell Hornets (Blackwell, TX)
The Hornets now possess a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Miles for a non-league battle on Monday, November 20. Blackwell will confront a Bulldogs team coming off a 44-19 non-league win over Reagan County (Big Lake, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 3-0.
The Eagles (2-2) will now prepare for their battle against Grape Creek (San Angelo, TX). The Eagles come into the non-league battle with a 3-2 record. In their last battle, Grape Creek trounced Garden City (Garden City, TX), 43-37, in a non-league battle.
