The Fairhope Pirates (Fairhope, AL) basketball knocked off the visiting Bryant Hurricanes (Irvington, AL), 65-52 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Pirates (2-3) will now prepare for their test against North Sand Mountain (Higdon, AL). The Bison go into the non-league test with a 3-1 record. In their last test, North Sand Mountain notched a victory over UMS-Wright Prep (Mobile, AL), 54-40, in a non-league test.
The Hurricanes now hold a 1-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Oneonta for a non-league contest on Monday, November 20. Bryant will battle a Redskins team coming off a 63-18 non-league loss to Gulf Shores (Gulf Shores, AL). The Redskins record now stands at 2-4.
