California High School Basketball - Saddleback can't hold off Capistrano Valley

The Capistrano Valley Cougars basketball team scored 28 points and restricted the visiting Saddleback Roadrunners to 25 in the Cougars non-league victory on Saturday.

The Cougars now sport a 1-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Rancho Alamitos for a non-league contest on Friday, December 15.

The Roadrunners (0-3) will now prepare for their contest against La Quinta (Westminster, CA). The Aztecs come into the non-league contest with a 2-2 record. In their last contest, La Quinta was nudged by Newport Harbor (Newport Beach, CA), 33-30, in a non-league contest.
