The Rosepine Eagles basketball team scored 68 points and restricted the visiting Carencro Bears to 47 in the Eagles non-league victory on Saturday.
The Eagles now sport a 3-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Natchitoches Central for a non-league contest on Tuesday, November 21. Rosepine will battle a Chiefs team coming off a 58-44 non-league win over Sulphur (Sulphur, LA). The Chiefs record now stands at 3-2.
The Bears (2-1) will now prepare for their contest against Zachary (Zachary, LA). The Broncos come into the non-league contest with a 1-0 record. In their last contest, Zachary triumphed over Breaux Bridge (Breaux Bridge, LA), 61-36, in a non-league contest.
