In Saturday's non-league outing, the Hale Center Owls (Hale Center, TX) basketball squad beat the host Sands Mustangs (Ackerly, TX), by a margin of 44-33.
The Owls (4-4) will now prepare for their match against Dimmitt (Dimmitt, TX). The Bobcats enter the non-league match with a 1-0 record.
