White Oak Roughnecks (White Oak, TX) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Harts Bluff Bulldogs (Mt. Pleasant, TX), 40-34 in a non-league bout.

With the win, White Oak upgrades its record to 4-4 on the season. The Roughnecks host Beckville (Beckville, TX) to play the Bearcats in a non-league bout on Monday, November 20. The Bearcats go into the bout with a record of 0-1. Beckville lost 62-30 in their recent non-league bout against Pittsburg (Pittsburg, TX)

Next up, the Bulldogs play the Prairiland Patriots (Pattonville, TX) in a non-league bout, on Monday, November 20. Harts Bluff will attempt to upgrade on its 2-4 season record. The Patriots go into the bout with a 4-2 record after their 52-37 non-league win over Detroit (Detroit, TX).
