Howard Tech Hustlin' Tigers (Chattanooga, TN) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Hixson Wildcats (Hixson, TN), 49-25 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Howard Tech upgrades its record to 1-1 on the campaign. The Hustlin' Tigers host Chattanooga School for the Arts & Sciences (Chattanooga, TN) to play the Patriots in a non-league bout on Monday, November 20. The Patriots come into the bout with a record of 0-0.

Next up, the Wildcats play the Sequatchie County Indians (Dunlap, TN) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, November 18. Hixson will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Indians come into the bout with a 0-1 record after their 53-40 non-league loss to Sunbright (Sunbright, TN).
