Mississippi High School Basketball - Ripley nips Mantachie

Ripley Tigers (Ripley, MS) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Mantachie Mustangs (Mantachie, MS), 48-41 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Ripley upgrades its record to 1-1 on the season. The Tigers travel to Ashland (Ashland, MS) to play the Blue Devils in a non-league bout on Monday, November 20. The Blue Devils go into the bout with a record of 0-2. Ashland lost 53-43 in their recent non-league bout against West Union (Myrtle, MS)

Next up, the Mustangs play the Jumpertown Cardinals (Booneville, MS) in a non-league bout, on Monday, November 20. Mantachie will attempt to upgrade on its 1-5 season record.
