The Valley View Blazers basketball team scored 51 points and held the visiting McGehee Owls to 44 in the Blazers non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Blazers now sport a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Brookland for a non-league contest on Monday, November 20. Valley View will meet a Bearcats team coming off a 67-46 non-league win over Rivercrest (Wilson, AR). The Bearcats record now stands at 2-1.
The Owls (0-2) will now prepare for their contest against Barton (Lexa, AR). The Bears enter the non-league contest with a 3-0 record. In their last contest, Barton nudged Clarendon (Clarendon, AR), 62-45, in a non-league contest.
