In Saturday's non-league outing, the Morton Ranch Mavericks (Katy, TX) basketball squad edged the visiting St. Agnes Academy Tigers (Houston, TX), by a count of 46-45.
The Mavericks (2-5) will now prepare for their outing against Paetow (Katy, TX). The Panthers go into the 6A Region III District 19 outing with a 4-2 record. In their last outing, Paetow held off Tomball Memorial (Tomball, TX), 44-40, in a non-league outing.
The Tigers now hold a 3-4 record. They play next when they host Dawson for a non-league outing on Monday, November 20. St. Agnes Academy will clash with a Eagles squad coming off a 56-37 non-league win over Humble (Humble, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 9-0.
