Texas High School Basketball - Veterans Memorial nudges Weslaco

In Saturday's non-league outing, the Veterans Memorial Chargers (Brownsville, TX) basketball squad edged the host Weslaco Panthers (Weslaco, TX), by a count of 41-39.

The Chargers (9-3) will now prepare for their outing against Edinburg (Edinburg, TX). The Bobcats go into the non-league outing with a 10-1 record. In their last outing, Edinburg held off Mercedes (Mercedes, TX), 92-39, in a non-league outing.
