Whitney Wildcats (Cerritos, CA) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Kennedy Fighting Irish (La Palma, CA), 56-46 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Whitney upgrades its record to 2-3 on the season. The Wildcats travel to El Rancho (Pico Rivera, CA) to clash with the Dons in a non-league bout on Tuesday, November 21. The Dons go into the bout with a record of 1-1. El Rancho lost 51-40 in their recent non-league bout against Claremont (Claremont, CA)

Next up, the Fighting Irish clash with the Laguna Beach Breakers (Laguna Beach, CA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 26. Kennedy will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record.
