In Monday's non-league contest, the host Kate Duncan Smith DAR Patriots basketball team scored a close 63-60 win over the Whitesburg Christian Academy Warriors.
The Patriots (5-1) will now prepare for their contest against Randolph School (Huntsville, AL). The Raiders come into the non-league contest with a 3-0 record. In their last contest, Randolph School edged Douglas (Douglas, AL), 63-44, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Warriors battle the Section Lions (Section, AL) in a non-league contest, on Friday, November 22. Whitesburg Christian Academy will attempt to better on its 2-3 season record.
