The Mountain Brook Spartans basketball team scored 70 points and limited the host Madison Academy Mustangs to 45 in the Spartans non-league triumph on Monday.

The Spartans now have a 3-1 record. They play next when they host John Carroll Catholic for a non-league game on Thursday, November 21. Mountain Brook will confront a Cavaliers team coming off a 89-50 non-league win over St. John Paul II (Huntsville, AL). The Cavaliers record now stands at 3-1.

With the loss, Madison Academy falls to 1-2 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Good Hope (Cullman, AL) to confront the Raiders in a non-league game on Thursday, November 21. The Raiders go into the game with a record of 0-0.
