Illinois High School Basketball - Freeport overwhelms Morrison

The Freeport Pretzels basketball team scored 79 points and limited the host Morrison Mustangs to 25 in the Pretzels non-league triumph on Monday.

The Pretzels now have a 1-0 record. They play next when they travel to East Dubuque for a non-league game on Wednesday, November 20. Freeport will confront a Warriors team coming off a 49-23 non-league win over Warren (Warren, IL). The Warriors record now stands at 1-0.

With the loss, Morrison falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Galena (Galena, IL) to confront the Pirates in a non-league game on Friday, November 22. The Pirates go into the game with a record of 1-0. Galena won 62-23 in their recent non-league game against Warren (Warren, IL)
