In Monday's non-league contest, the host Sherman Oaks CES Knights basketball team scored a big 54-10 triumph over the Hueneme Vikings.
The Knights (1-0) will now prepare for their contest against Faith Baptist (Canoga Park, CA). The Contenders go into the non-league contest with a 0-1 record. In their last contest, Faith Baptist was trounced by Marymount (Los Angeles, CA), 41-20, in a non-league contest.
