Lake Nona Lions (Orlando, FL) supporters left the game satisfied Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the host Cornerstone Charter Academy Ducks (Belle Isle, FL), 52-30 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Lake Nona advances its record to 1-0 on the year. The Lions host Dr. Phillips (Orlando, FL) to face the Panthers in a non-league match on Wednesday, November 20. The Panthers enter the match with a record of 0-0.

The Ducks now own a 0-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Orlando Science for a non-league match on Wednesday, November 20. Cornerstone Charter Academy will face a Orcas squad coming off a 76-21 non-league loss to Forest Lake Academy (Apopka, FL). The Orcas record now stands at 0-3.
