North Carolina High School Basketball - Ballantyne Ridge thwarts Piedmont

The crowd at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Ballantyne Ridge Wolves (Charlotte, NC) and the host Piedmont Panthers (Monroe, NC), observed Ballantyne Ridge's basketball team knock off Piedmont by a score of 64-51.

The Wolves (2-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Parkwood (Monroe, NC). The Wolf Pack come into the non-league challenge with a 1-0 record. In their last challenge, Parkwood prevailed over Sun Valley (Monroe, NC), 67-55, in a non-league battle.

The Panthers now own a 0-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Carson for a non-league battle on Friday, November 21.
