The Westbury Huskies (Houston, TX) basketball edged the visiting Eisenhower Eagles (Houston, TX), 69-65 in Tuesday's non-league bout.
The Huskies now hold a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Sterling for a 5A Region III District 21 test on Saturday, November 22. Westbury will encounter a Raiders squad coming off a 68-24 non-league loss to Clear Falls (League City, TX). The Raiders record now stands at 0-2.
The Eagles (0-1) will now prepare for their test against Brazoswood (Clute, TX). The Buccaneers come into the non-league test with a 2-0 record. In their last test, Brazoswood held off Fort Bend Willowridge (Houston, TX), 57-50, in a non-league test.
