The Peabody Golden Tide basketball team scored 64 points and limited the host South Gibson Hornets to 60 in the Golden Tide non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Golden Tide now have a 1-0 record. They play next when they travel to Lake County for a non-league game on Thursday, November 20. Peabody will confront a Falcons team coming off a 53-50 non-league win over Westview (Martin, TN). The Falcons record now stands at 1-0.

With the loss, South Gibson falls to 0-1 on the year. The Hornets travel to Dickson County (Dickson, TN) to clash with the Cougars in a non-league outing on Saturday, November 22. The Cougars enter the outing with a record of 1-1. Dickson County lost 76-49 in their recent non-league outing against Father Ryan (Nashville, TN)
