Texas High School Basketball - Rivera succumbs to San Benito

The San Benito Greyhounds defeated the host Rivera Raiders basketball squad by a final score of 75-62 in Tuesday's non-league outing.

Next, the Greyhounds play the Los Fresnos Falcons (Los Fresnos, TX) in a non-league test, on Thursday, November 20. San Benito will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record. The Falcons come into the test with a 2-0 record after their 64-40 non-league win over Weslaco East (Weslaco, TX).

The Raiders (0-2) will now prepare for their test against Rio Grande City (Rio Grande City, TX). The Rattlers come into the non-league test with a 1-0 record. In their last test, Rio Grande City overcame Pharr-San Juan-Alamo (San Juan, TX), 51-41, in a non-league test.
