    • Georgia High School Basketball - Carver trounced by Alcovy

    November 18, 2025: Covington, GA 30014

    The Carver Panthers basketball squad (Atlanta, GA), was crushed 53-17 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the host Alcovy Tigers (Covington, GA)

    The Tigers (3-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Ola (McDonough, GA). The Mustangs come into the non-league challenge with a 1-2 record. In their last challenge, Ola was routed by Lamar County (Barnesville, GA), 54-37, in a non-league challenge.

    In their next game, the Panthers battle the Douglas County Tigers (Douglasville, GA) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, November 22. Carver will attempt to advance on its 1-2 season record. The Tigers enter the battle with a 0-1 record after their 64-14 non-league loss to Lithonia (Lithonia, GA).
