Fremont Eagles (Fremont, IN) backers were thrilled Tuesday as they saw their basketball team topple the host Fort Wayne Blackhawk Christian Braves (Fort Wayne, IN), 53-45 in a non-league game.

The Eagles now have a 5-1 record. They play next when they travel to Central Noble for a Northeast Corner game on Friday, November 21. Fremont will confront a Cougars squad coming off a 48-15 non-league win over Bethany Christian (Goshen, IN). The Cougars record now stands at 3-1.

The Braves (2-3) will now prepare for their outing against Concord (Elkhart, IN). The Minutemen enter the non-league outing with a 0-5 record. In their last outing, Concord was defeated by Glenn (Walkerton, IN), 43-34, in a non-league outing.
