Texas High School Basketball - Refugio triumphant over John Paul II

The crowd at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Refugio Bobcats (Refugio, TX) and the visiting John Paul II Centurions (Corpus Christi, TX), observed Refugio's basketball team overwhelm John Paul II by a score of 67-28.
The Bobcats (2-0) will now prepare for their battle against West Oso (Corpus Christi, TX). The Bears enter the non-league battle with a 2-1 record. In their last battle, West Oso was crushed by Flour Bluff (Corpus Christi, TX), 47-34, in a non-league battle.
The Centurions now own a 1-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Taft for a non-league challenge on Thursday, November 20. John Paul II will battle a Greyhounds team coming off a 60-14 non-league win over Premont (Premont, TX). The Greyhounds record now stands at 3-1.
