Veritas School Lions (Richmond, VA) supporters left the game satisfied Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the visiting Nansemond-Suffolk Academy Saints (Suffolk, VA), 37-21 in a non-league contest.

The Lions (2-1) will now prepare for their contest against Isle of Wight Academy (Isle of Wight, VA). The Chargers go into the non-league contest with a 1-0 record. In their last contest, Isle of Wight Academy topped Southampton Academy (Courtland, VA), 39-31, in a non-league match.

The Saints now sport a 0-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Christchurch School for a non-league match on Thursday, December 4.
