Northridge Jaguars (Tuscaloosa, AL) backers went home thrilled Tuesday as they saw their basketball team smash the host New Hope Trojans (Columbus, MS), 62-35 in a non-league contest.

The Jaguars (3-0) will now prepare for their contest against Hale County (Moundville, AL). The Wildcats go into the non-league contest with a 0-5 record. In their last contest, Hale County was trounced by Bibb County (Centreville, AL), 48-11, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Trojans battle the Itawamba Agricultural Indians (Fulton, MS) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, November 20. New Hope will attempt to better on its 1-1 season record. The Indians enter the match with a 5-1 record after their 39-30 non-league loss to Wheeler (Wheeler, MS).
