The Mater Dei Monarchs basketball team scored 72 points and limited the visiting Crean Lutheran Saints to 9 in the Monarchs non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Monarchs now possess a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Villa Park for a non-league outing on Saturday, November 22. Mater Dei will clash with a Spartans squad coming off a 39-36 non-league loss to Corona del Mar (Newport Beach, CA). The Spartans record now stands at 2-1.
The Saints (0-2) will now prepare for their outing against Fairmont Prep (Anaheim, CA). The Huskies come into the non-league outing with a 0-0 record.
