In Tuesday's non-league contest, the visiting Pine Forest Trojans basketball team scored a big 74-53 triumph over the Gray's Creek Bears.
The Trojans (1-0) will now prepare for their match against Westover (Fayetteville, NC). The Wolverines enter the non-league match with a 0-2 record. In their last match, Westover was overwhelmed by Southern Lee (Sanford, NC), 73-72, in a non-league match.
The Bears now sport a 0-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to West Johnston for a non-league match on Friday, November 21. Gray's Creek will confront a Wildcats team coming off a 45-32 non-league win over Smithfield-Selma (Smithfield, NC). The Wildcats record now stands at 1-0.
