In Tuesday's non-league challenge, the Tupelo Golden Wave (Tupelo, MS) soccer squad overwhelmed the visiting Saltillo Tigers (Saltillo, MS), by a margin of 5-0.
The Golden Wave now hold a 5-1 record. They play next when they travel to Hernando for a 7A Region 1 challenge on Tuesday, December 2. Tupelo will encounter a Tigers squad coming off a 8-0 non-league win over Tupelo Christian Prep (Belden, MS). The Tigers record now stands at 7-0.
Next up, the Tigers battle the Mooreville Troopers (Mooreville, MS) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, November 20. Saltillo will attempt to upgrade on its 3-4 season record.
