The Anderson County Mavericks basketball team scored 75 points and held the visiting Sunbright Tigers to 35 in the Mavericks non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Mavericks now sport a 1-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Heritage for a non-league contest on Saturday, November 19. Anderson County will meet a Mountaineers team coming off a 65-56 non-league win over Sequoyah (Madisonville, TN). The Mountaineers record now stands at 1-0.

The Tigers (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against Campbell County (Jacksboro, TN). The Cougars enter the non-league contest with a 2-0 record. In their last contest, Campbell County triumphed over Halls (Knoxville, TN), 72-62, in a non-league contest.
