In Saturday's non-league outing, the Bald Knob Bulldogs (Bald Knob, AR) basketball squad beat the visiting South Side Hornet (Bee Branch, AR), by a count of 71-55.
The Bulldogs (1-0) will now prepare for their outing against Cave City (Cave City, AR). The Cavemen go into the 3A Region 2 outing with a 1-0 record.
The Hornet now hold a 4-3 record. They play next when they host Mt. Vernon-Enola for a 2A Region 2 outing on Tuesday, November 29. South Side will clash with a Warhawks squad coming off a 59-48 league loss to Sloan-Hendrix (Imboden, AR). The Warhawks record now stands at 4-5.
