Corcoran Panthers (Corcoran, CA) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting East Bakersfield Blades (Bakersfield, CA), 61-50 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Corcoran upgrades its record to 2-1 on the season. The Panthers travel to Frontier (Bakersfield, CA) to clash with the Titans in a non-league bout on Saturday, November 19. The Titans go into the bout with a record of 1-1. Frontier lost 47-45 in their recent non-league bout against West (Bakersfield, CA)

Next up, the Blades clash with the Thousand Oaks Lancers (Thousand Oaks, CA) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 1. East Bakersfield will attempt to upgrade on its 2-2 season record. The Lancers go into the bout with a 1-0 record after their 96-58 non-league win over Viewpoint (Calabasas, CA).
