Fairview Panthers (Grant, LA) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Northside Vikings (Lafayette, LA), 71-68 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Fairview upgrades its record to 9-2 on the season. The Panthers travel to Glenmora (Glenmora, LA) to play the Wildcats in a non-league bout on Tuesday, November 29. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 0-2. Glenmora lost 67-28 in their recent non-league bout against Rapides (Lecompte, LA)

Next up, the Vikings play the Liberty Magnet Patriots (Baton Rouge, LA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, November 29. Northside will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record.
