California High School Basketball - Providence knocked off by Saugus

The Saugus Centurions basketball team scored 79 points and held the host Providence Pioneers to 69 in the Centurions non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Centurions now sport a 2-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Valencia for a Foothill contest on Tuesday, November 29. Saugus will battle a Vikings team coming off a 78-66 non-league win over Sylmar (Sylmar, CA). The Vikings record now stands at 3-1.

The Pioneers (1-3) will now prepare for their contest against Serra (Gardena, CA). The Cavaliers enter the non-league contest with a 3-0 record. In their last contest, Serra ran past El Dorado (Placentia, CA), 63-49, in a non-league contest.
