The Quartz Hill Royals basketball team scored 53 points and restricted the visiting Canyon Cowboys to 50 in the Royals non-league victory on Saturday.
The Royals now sport a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Palmdale for a contest on Wednesday, November 30. Quartz Hill will battle a Falcons team coming off a 63-41 non-league win over Tournament Opponent (, ). The Falcons record now stands at 1-2.
The Cowboys (1-2) will now prepare for their contest against Glendora (Glendora, CA). The Tartans come into the non-league contest with a 0-1 record. In their last contest, Glendora was nudged by San Dimas (San Dimas, CA), 55-53, in a non-league contest.
