Texas High School Basketball - Americas over Holmes

Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Americas Trail Blazers (El Paso, TX) and the host Holmes Huskies (San Antonio, TX), saw Americas's basketball squad overcome Holmes by a tally of 64-50.

With the victory, Americas improves its record to 8-2 on the campaign. The Trail Blazers host Franklin (El Paso, TX) to confront the Cougars in a 6A Region I District 1 challenge on Tuesday, November 22. The Cougars come into the challenge with a record of 7-1. Franklin won 76-52 in their recent non-league challenge against Glenn (Leander, TX)

Next up, the Huskies confront the Tivy Antlers (Kerrville, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, November 21. Holmes will attempt to improve on its 8-4 season record. The Antlers come into the challenge with a 2-1 record after their 36-21 non-league win over Dripping Springs (Dripping Springs, TX).
