Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Gordon Central Warriors (Calhoun, GA) and the visiting Coosa Eagles (Rome, GA), saw Gordon Central's basketball squad hold off Coosa by a tally of 21-19.

With the victory, Gordon Central improves its record to 2-1 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to Mt. Zion (Mt. Zion, GA) to confront the Eagles in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, November 29. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 1-1. Mt. Zion won 33-26 in their recent non-league challenge against LaGrange (LaGrange, GA)

Next up, the Eagles confront the Trion Bulldogs (Trion, GA) in a A D1 Region 7 challenge, on Friday, December 2. Coosa will attempt to improve on its 1-2 season record.
