Indiana High School Basketball - Jay County crushes Winchester Community

November 19, 2022: Portland, IN 47371

Jay County Patriots (Portland, IN) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Winchester Community Golden Falcons (Winchester, IN), 62-33 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Jay County upgrades its record to 4-1 on the season. The Patriots host Woodlan (Woodburn, IN) to clash with the Warriors in a Allen County bout on Friday, November 25. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 5-1. Woodlan won 64-51 in their recent non-league bout against Hicksville (Hicksville, OH)

Next up, the Golden Falcons clash with the Hagerstown Tigers (Hagerstown, IN) in a Tri-Eastern bout, on Wednesday, November 23. Winchester Community will attempt to upgrade on its 3-1 season record. The Tigers go into the bout with a 1-4 record after their 41-26 non-league loss to Randolph Southern (Lynn, IN).
