Ohio High School Basketball - Mentor nudges Perry

Mentor Cardinals (Mentor, OH) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Perry Pirates (Perry, OH), 60-53 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Mentor upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Cardinals travel to Chardon (Chardon, OH) to clash with the Hilltoppers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, November 22. The Hilltoppers go into the bout with a record of 0-0.

Next up, the Pirates clash with the Lakeside Dragons (Ashtabula, OH) in a Chagrin Valley - Lake bout, on Tuesday, November 29. Perry will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record.
