Canyon Cowboys (Canyon Country, CA) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Quartz Hill Royals (Quartz Hill, CA), 46-42 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Canyon upgrades its record to 3-1 on the season. The Cowboys host West Ranch (Valencia, CA) to play the Wildcats in a bout on Tuesday, November 29. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 3-2. West Ranch won 75-72 in their recent non-league bout against Crescenta Valley (La Crescenta, CA)

Next up, the Royals play the Palmdale Falcons (Palmdale, CA) in a bout, on Wednesday, November 30. Quartz Hill will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Falcons go into the bout with a 0-2 record after their 60-42 non-league loss to Paraclete (Lancaster, CA).
