Louisiana High School Basketball - Istrouma topped by Madison Prep Academy

The Madison Prep Academy basketball team scored 60 points and restricted the visiting Istrouma Indians to 40 in the non-league victory on Sunday.

The now sport a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host John Curtis Christian for a non-league contest on Tuesday, November 21. Madison Prep Academy will battle a Patriots team coming off a 68-55 non-league win over Woodlawn-B.R. (Baton Rouge, LA). The Patriots record now stands at 2-1.

The Indians (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against Northeast (Pride, LA). The Vikings come into the non-league contest with a 1-2 record. In their last contest, Northeast was defeated by Dunham (Baton Rouge, LA), 58-28, in a non-league contest.
