The Guntersville Wildcats basketball team scored 78 points and limited the host Southside Panthers to 51 in the Wildcats non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Wildcats now have a 1-0 record. They play next when they host Sparkman for a non-league game on Thursday, November 21. Guntersville will confront a Senators team coming off a 52-44 non-league loss to Buckhorn (New Market, AL). The Senators record now stands at 1-3.

With the loss, Southside falls to 2-1 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Etowah (Attalla, AL) to confront the Blue Devils in a non-league game on Thursday, November 21. The Blue Devils go into the game with a record of 2-1. Etowah lost 67-26 in their recent non-league game against Albertville (Albertville, AL)
