Tennessee High School Basketball - Humboldt holds off Union City

The Humboldt Vikings basketball team scored 65 points and limited the host Union City Golden Tornadoes to 61 in the Vikings non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Vikings now possess a 1-0 record. They play next when they host Haywood for a non-league game on Friday, November 22. Humboldt will confront a Tomcats team coming off a 71-64 non-league win over Jackson Central Merry (Jackson, TN). The Tomcats record now stands at 1-0.

With the loss, Union City falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Golden tornadoes travel to Peabody (Trenton, TN) to confront the Golden Tide in a non-league game on Thursday, November 21. The Golden Tide go into the game with a record of 1-0. Peabody won 62-53 in their recent non-league game against South Gibson (Medina, TN)
