The Azle Hornets basketball team scored 49 points and limited the visiting Legacy Leopards to 48 in the Hornets non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Hornets now possess a 3-6 record. They play next when they host Paschal for a non-league game on Friday, November 22. Azle will play a Panthers team coming off a 65-33 non-league loss to Joshua (Joshua, TX). The Panthers record now stands at 4-2.

With the loss, Legacy falls to 2-4 on the campaign. The Leopards travel to Newman Smith (Carrollton, TX) to play the Trojans in a non-league game on Friday, November 22. The Trojans go into the game with a record of 8-0. Newman Smith won 46-38 in their recent non-league game against Birdville (North Richland Hills, TX)
