North Carolina High School Basketball - Independence overwhelmed by Hickory Ridge

November 19, 2024: Charlotte, NC 28227

In Tuesday's non-league test, the Hickory Ridge Ragin' Bulls (Harrisburg, NC) basketball squad trounced the host Independence Patriots (Charlotte, NC), by a final score of 74-0.

Next, the Ragin' Bulls clash with the Myers Park Mustangs (Charlotte, NC) in a non-league test, on Friday, November 22. Hickory Ridge will attempt to upgrade on its 2-0 season record. The Mustangs come into the test with a 0-1 record after their 52-40 non-league loss to Hough (Cornelius, NC).

The Patriots (0-1) will now prepare for their test against Weddington (Matthews, NC). The Warriors come into the non-league test with a 0-1 record. In their last test, Weddington was overwhelmed by South Mecklenburg (Charlotte, NC), 71-65, in a non-league test.
