Texas High School Basketball - Union Grove holds off Kilgore

In Tuesday's non-league contest, the host Union Grove Lions basketball team scored a close 40-37 triumph over the Kilgore Bulldogs.

The Lions (3-1) will now prepare for their contest against Christian Heritage (Longview, TX). The Sentinels go into the non-league contest with a 2-2 record. In their last contest, Christian Heritage was tipped by Linden-Kildare (Linden, TX), 51-38, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Bulldogs confront the Bishop Gorman Crusaders (Tyler, TX) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, November 21. Kilgore will attempt to better on its 2-1 season record. The Crusaders go into the contest with a 2-1 record after their 60-27 non-league loss to Tyler HEAT (Tyler, TX).
