California High School Basketball - Valley View toppled by Corona

Corona Panthers (Corona, CA) boosters left the game satisfied Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the visiting Valley View Eagles (Moreno Valley, CA), 56-40 in a non-league game.

The Panthers now have a 2-0 record. They play next when they travel to Miller for a non-league game on Friday, November 21. Corona will confront a Rebels team coming off a 93-73 non-league loss to Apple Valley (Apple Valley, CA). The Rebels record now stands at 0-1.

With the loss, Valley View drops to 1-1 on the year. The Eagles travel to Yucaipa (Yucaipa, CA) to face the Thunderbirds in a non-league outing on Thursday, November 20. The Thunderbirds enter the outing with a record of 1-0. Yucaipa won 52-50 in their recent non-league outing against JW North (Riverside, CA)
