Kansas School for the Deaf Jackrabbits (Olathe, KS) supporters left the game happy Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad run past the visiting Independence Home School Lions (Lawrence, KS), 46-33 in a league match.

With the victory, Kansas School for the Deaf advances its record to 1-1 on the year. The Jackrabbits travel to The Daniel Academy (Kansas City, MO) to face the Lions in a Great Plains contest on Tuesday, December 2. The Lions go into the contest with a record of 2-0. The Daniel Academy won 57-17 in their recent non-league contest against Veritas Christian (Lawrence, KS)

In their next game, the Lions battle the St. Vincent de Paul Academy Hawks (Kansas City, MO) in a Great Plains contest, on Wednesday, December 3. Independence Home School will attempt to better on its 0-1 season record.
