The South Johnston Trojans (Four Oaks, NC) basketball were winner over the host Midway Raiders (Dunn, NC), 56-47 in Wednesday's non-league bout.

The Trojans now possess a 1-0 record. They play next when they travel to Smithfield-Selma for a non-league test on Friday, November 21. South Johnston will encounter a Spartans team coming off a 66-58 non-league loss to West Johnston (Benson, NC). The Spartans record now stands at 1-1.

In their next game, the Raiders encounter the Triton Hawks (Erwin, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, November 25. Midway will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record.
