Sunnyside Blue Devils (Tucson, AZ) supporters left the game happy Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting Gila Ridge Hawks (Yuma, AZ), 68-43 in a non-league contest.

The Blue Devils (1-0) will now prepare for their contest against Mountain Ridge (Glendale, AZ). The Mountain Lions go into the non-league contest with a 0-1 record.

In their next game, the Hawks battle the La Joya Community Fighting Lobos (Avondale, AZ) in a non-league contest, on Friday, December 12. Gila Ridge will attempt to better on its 0-1 season record.
